How we calculate these figures
Every week we scrape live rental listings across all 32 London boroughs. The prices shown are median averages — we line up every listing from cheapest to most expensive and take the middle price. Unlike a simple average, a handful of unusually cheap or pricey listings can’t skew it.
London’s rental market is dominated by Zoopla, the number one property website in London — so Zoopla listings are our primary source for whole-property pricing. The cheapest and most expensive figures on this page link to the actual live listings, because we think you should be able to see the properties behind the numbers. An automated estimate can’t show you that.
